Justice should be given to farmers by bringing an end to the National Livestock scheme at the festival of Pola - Dr. Santosh Munde

Parli Vaidyanath (Representative): - Under the National Livestock Mission, Livestock Insurance Scheme was implemented for all the districts of Maharashtra between 1st October 2015 to 31st March, 2017 through Maharashtra Livestock Development Board. This scheme has been closed since 2017. However, this scheme has not been started by the State's Livestock Commissioner after wiping them out.
Today, the demand for justice for the farmers by implementing this scheme on the occasion of Bal ‘POLA’ festival, Dr. Deshpande's State Vice President Dr. Santosh Munde has done this.
A detailed report regarding this is that due to natural calamities, sickness and accidents, the loss of livestock (animals) causes financial loss of the farmer or the livestock. Often the death of livestock (animals) due to the effects of chronic diseases or natural disasters. This results in large scale economic losses to livestock farmers. In case of insurance protection, cattle farmer can get compensation from the insurance company. Actually, the government-sponsored scheme of 2017 livestock insurance scheme is closed. There are many dangers on the livestock, when the animals are standing. The snakebite also dies. If the scheme is implemented, the farmers will get relief. In order to make maximum livelihood farmers go to the Bhaavwan and explain them and motivate them to take out animal insurance.
Under this scheme, cattle, cow, buffaloes, indigenous or milch animals and goats, sheep, etc. are included. Benefits of this scheme are to be given to every farmer Under this scheme, the government should be given a rebate to pay the 100% per annum to the Government. In case of loss of livelihood, due to sickness, accidents, fire, electricity, smoke, storms, earthquakes, drought and riots, insurance cover provides compensation as compensation.
Under the National Livestock Mission, Maharashtra Livestock Development Board has started all the districts of the state. The scheme is being discontinued in the public interest due to the closure. However, the State Government should undertake a campaign to protect livestock insurance by providing livelihood (livestock) of livestock, goats and sheep in the district as a solution to this. Otherwise, the NCP's Vice President of the Youth Congress, warned against spreading a fast movement in the future under the leadership of Leader of the Opposition in the state, Mr. Dhananjay Munde.
